How do I brew a potion?
When using a Monk, Druid, or Ranger you will notice that in your "Spells" or "Skills" menu you have the option to "Brew <potion name>." Only Monks, Ranger, and Druids have this ability and they each brew a different potion.
- Monks - Sapphire Potion - gives +1 agility and nullifies faeriefire during its effect
- Rangers - Amber Potion - +1 strength
- Druids - Amethyst Potion - cures poison
In order to brew potions, you need to have all the necessary ingredients plus an Empty Potion Bottle. Go to your spell list and right click on the brew potion option and hit "use." It will use up your 4 items and then in your inventory you will have a brand new potion.
What are the ingredients I need?
Each class/potion requires 3 special items + an empty potion bottle. Here is a listing of the items each Class/Potion needs:
- Monks - Sapphire Potion - Coffee Beans, Rosemary, Moon Plant
- Rangers - Amber Potion - Troll Ear, Soybeans, Garlic
- Druids - Amethyst Potion - Star Fruit, Ginger Root, Mint Leaves
Where do I get the items necessary?
Rangers, Druids, and Monks are the only classes able to see if any foragable plants are in the area. When you "look around" on a square with foragable items, it will say "You see some coffee beans growing here." You can then /forage as many times as you want to acquire an inexhaustible supply of the foragable plant.
Most of the ingredients needed for brewing potions grow in common areas and are typically found in dead ends that otherwise seem useless. Empty Potion Bottles can be bought in Terra for a small price.
