06/23/04 - Error Guide Updated
Thanks to a helpful email from Cosmo, the Error Guide has been updated with a new fix for the persistent Runtime 50003 error. We appreciate his submission. If you have a fix for a problem with the RoK client that's not on our guide, please email it to RoKWorld@RoKWorld.com!
04/20/04 - Commands List Updated
Thanks to the diligent efforts of ElDiabloPancake many typos were removed from the Commands list and much information was updated. Please feel free to email RoKWorld@RoKWorld.com or post on our RoKWorld Updates forum if you have any comments or corrections for this or any other page on the site!
03/22/04 - Dropped Sellable Item List Updated
There have been some huge changes to monster drops in an effort to stabilize the RoK economy. We've updated the list of Sellable Dropped Items to begin to reflect these changes, but there's a huge amount of data yet to collect. 02/13/04 - RoKWorld Item Database!
The long awaited RoKWorld Item Database has made its first appearance with the Equipment section being released. Other sections will be added as we complete them. And since I'm too lazy to update the news most of the time, oh yeah we added the Damage Calculator a while ago.
12/13/03 - New OaD added
The Mask of Valest has been replaced with the Shroud of Sorrow which gives 17ac decked. Also, a "Discontinued OaDs" section has been added to the One A Day List.

09/23/03 - Updates
There've been several changes in AG in the past few weeks, so I refreshed the Staff List to reflect that. I also made some corrections on the Pricing Guide. As always, please let us know if you see any errors or omissions!
09/12/03 - Late Summer/Early Fall Cleaning!
It was waaaaay past due for me to run through a few of the "less-updated" pages on the site and get things cleaned up and current! Here's what I've done so far:
- Finally took out those outdated "Words of Power" and "Components" from the spells list...they haven't been a part of the Academia for years and it was way past time for me to clean that guide up. Post in the RoKWorld Updates forum and let us know if you see any errors or omissions!
- Pulled the items from the OaD list that are no longer daily available and added the new items from the past few months.
08/01/03 - Experience Calculator Updated!
A new field has been added to the Exp Calculator, monster "Race." This field is what is used for certain weapons or spells that do bonus amounts of damage to certain monsters. There is also an updated interface with new options and easier sorting abilities! Giakomo is my hero! <3
Remember, we're always looking for more monster information, even if it's just 1 piece of info about 1 monster, every little bit helps! Post your information in our Monster Data Forum.

07/24/03 - New Error and Maintenance Guide!
Our newest addition to the RoKWorld Research Staff, mpmpmp, has written a very helpful Error and Maintenance Guide. This is a page we've wanted since RoKWorld's inception and it's great to see such a complete and helpful addition to the site!
07/17/03 - Commands List Updated
After reading a post on the main RoK boards today I realised that the Commands List was missing the /plan command as well as the new navigation features that were added with the most recent update. If you notice anything else missing from this page, please let us know!

After looking over all the applications we received, we finally agreed on 4 people to become the new RoK World Research Staff! Check out all the posts DM's been making this month about the new server. Hopefully this really will mean the end to lag!
Also, I did some general tweaking here and there of a couple pages, most notably the Staff page was updated to reflect the changes in the Build Team. As always, please let us know if you see any typos or errors anywhere on the site! Thanks!
05/12/03 - Skins page updated
Thanks to Kinar a broken link was fixed on the Skins page, and he's also been kind enough to create a Skin Previewer. It's a small program that will allow you to quickly and easily browse through your skins and see how they'll look on the client. It's a great tool for both skin users and creators! You can find it under the Tools section of the Skins Guide.
04/30/03 - Minor Updates
I tweaked a little here and there on a couple pages...most notably I updated the chart with Animorph info on the Stats page thanks to an anonymous email that gave more information on lower-wisdom bonuses. It appears that wisdom may have the same floor as endurance, since it looks like anything under 12 would get the same bonus. If anyone has any more data on this, please email it to RoKWorld@RoKWorld.com. Thanks!
04/23/03 - Client/Roller Update
DM announced a small update to the client today. Nothing apparent to the user has changed, but it will resolve some errors that some people have been experiencing. Read the announcement here.

03/14/03 - Updated Maps
PritheeJohn has spent the past few days tirelessly mapping the entire Realms, and has kindly offered to allow RoKWorld to host the finished product! We also have more excellent maps from Dayrose, who has provided an updated map of the Elven Forest and Barbarian Road, as well as the Dense Forest. Many thanks to both of you! 02/20/03 - New Player's Guide Updated
The New Player's Guide has been updated to reflect the new level locks on arenas. The levels at which you can no longer enter certain arenas are: Terra - 8, Vetra - 9, Trollheim - 15, Duskan - 15, Forestia - 17, Mordu - 19, New Alencia - 21, Freelance - 23, Aghorin - 23, and Donas - 24.
02/15/03 - The new Beta2 Client is now ONLINE!
DM released the super snazzy Beta2 client today, chock full of new features, most of which came straight from the mouths and minds of the players who posted in the RoK Suggestions Forum! Download and install the new client today and check it out! Read DM's Announcement for more info!
02/15/03 - Exp Calculator Updated!
The exp calculator has been updated to now include locations of monsters as well as all the helpful info it has always contained. Check it out!
02/14/03 - Stuff!
Added some stuff to the forum, made a Monsters page that includes all the monsters and their locations, made a Monk skills/abilities guide, and updated the Buying/Selling guide to have some more accurate prices plus some tips and suggestions at the bottom of the page.

01/29/03 - DM's Future of the Realms Part III post
DM has updated the Realms on his plans for future updates to both Realms of Kaos and Kaos 3D. Read his post here.
01/21/03 - New Maps posted
Rosewood has been kind enough to volunteer her efforts filling in some of the gaps in our maps page, and has provided excellent maps of Fort Mordu, the Circus, New Alencia, the new Ruins, and Elmarae. Giakomo also has mapped the entire Country Lane, town of Elmarae, and the hills and caves beyond it. That map is linked, but not uploaded...it will be in tonight. Check out the Maps page for all the updated maps.

01/10/03 - General Updates
Added a nifty arrow image to the scrolling menu to replace the text one that was there previously and got around to cleaning up the Terra AQ Guide today so it's all nice and neat. Also, I added a short guide on Taming for Rangers to the Class Skills page.

After months of lazing about and goofing off, Aramoug and Shanti have finally come up with a working version of the one-stop RoK info site, RoK World! We left some things out that we're still working on, like the equipment guide and skill guide, but they are coming. We're not promising when they're coming, but they are in the works. :) If you find any errors, typos, omissions etc just email Shanti or Aramoug. Thanks!
